First, allow me to say how much we appreciate the service you provide as a
monitoring forum of Israeli academics, which helps keep us informed on the
nature and depth of the internal ideological debate in Israel on a variety
of issues critical to this nation's survival and well-being.



We would like to correct the record, however, regarding the statement set
out below which was released to your E-mail service list on Tuesday,
September 26, 2006. After making internal inquiries within our broad
organization, I would like to clarify and confirm that the International
Christian Embassy Jerusalem has no affiliation with Rev. Charles J.
Edgbaston of Canada, and that no one associated with the ICEJ made the
representations he alleges we made concerning Haifa University Prof. Ilan
Pappe. While we cannot agree with many of Pappe's views, it is beyond the
mandate of our ministry to go charging him with "committing slander against
the holy state of Israel" or to question his citizenship in this country.



We kindly request that you correct the record on this account with your
