Below is an email exchange regarding a factual error on their website: They recently
wrote that I am a post-doc at Brown University, and I pointed out to them that, as my
website clearly states, I am a FORMER post-doc at Brown University, which implies
that it is factually incorrect to say that I am (in the present tense) a post-doc at Brown
University. The reply (anonymous, of course..) is that they don't care that they have a
factual error on their website.

It says you are former Post-Doc but it doesn't say you are no longer in
Brown U! Also, it doesn't say you are somewhere else. One does google
search and your homepage is in Brown U. Its entirely up to you to post the
right and accurate info.

FYI:  It is a couple of years since I left Brown University. This is why
my webpage there says former
post-doc. If your work is to have any archival value, you should try to be
accurate, at least with hard facts.
