Subject: [Hacampus-lo-shotek] [RHR] volunteers needed in East Jerusalem and high court

Activities for the coming week:
This week  the El-Kurd family was evicted from a section of their home in Sheikh Jarrah.
40 settlers, accompanied by private security forces forcefully evicted the family of 30 people.
The family's belongings were thrown out to the street and the settlers entered their home.
This is the third eviction in the last four months.
1. Another expression of solidarity on Friday 06/11 at 4 PM in Sheikh Jarrah
The settlers who are living in the homes of the evicted families have begun to harass Palestinian families in the neighborhood that are now living in the street. They have begun to gather near the Palestinian families on Friday evenings, making noise and scaring the families. Our presence is particularly needed then.
2. Presence needed at the High Court on Monday, 9/11 at 9:00 AM.
On Monday a hearing will take place at the High Court regarding the department of public work's request to demolish the Jahalin school in order to expand a highway. The school was built last summer by the members of the Jahalin tribe and volunteers. Their request to demolish the school is joined by an organization from Kfar Adumim, the nearest settlement to the school.
We ask that you come and support the Jahalin, and to demand the respect of their children's' right to an education.
